Erik Habberstad is the Dealer Principal of Habberstad BMW of Huntington and Bay Shore, Habberstad MINI, and is owner of Habberstad Collision Center.

Habberstad Auto Group was launched by Erik’s father in 1971. In the late 1990’s Erik’s father retired leaving Erik in charge of Habberstad BMW and Erik’s brother, Howie, in charge of Habberstad Nissan.

Since Erik took over the leadership role of Habberstad BMW and MINI, he has continued to grow the company making it one of the largest largest centers in the US and earning BMW’s highest customer satisfaction ratings.

Andrew Habberstad is the dedicated owner of Habberstad, proudly representing the third generation of the Habberstad family in the industry.

Andrew Habberstad is a graduate of Boston University and the National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA) Dealer Academy. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Greater New York Automobile Dealers Association (GNYADA) and is an Advisory Board Member for UVeye.

Andrew has been immersed in the automotive business since the age of 13. He began with facility maintenance before moving into hands-on technical work as a prep technician, performing tire changes, PDIs, and oil services. From there, he gained experience across every major department, including roles as a parts department intern, used car salesman, and wholesale car manager, representing the company in-lane at Manheim auctions. He also completed both F&I school and service advisor school, building a well-rounded foundation across all facets of dealership operations
